A Prayer For The Weary Heart
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being near to the brokenhearted and gentle with the weary. You see the burdens we carry, the battles we don’t speak of, and the questions we’re too afraid to ask. You invite us to come, to rest, to breathe, to be still in Your presence.
Today, we lay down every worry, every wound, and every whispered fear. We surrender the need to have it all figured out, and choose instead to trust the One who holds all things together. Wrap us in Your peace, the kind that passes all understanding. Quiet the noise in our soul and speak life where there’s been despair.
Remind us that Your grace is enough for this moment and the next. When we feel unseen, remind us You are the God who sees us. When we feel unloved, draw us back to the cross where Your love was poured out in full.
Teach us to walk by faith, not fear. To find joy in the waiting. To choose gratitude even in the shadows. And when we don’t feel strong enough, remind us that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness.
Thank You for never letting go. For new mercies every morning. For being our safe place, our hope, our healer, and our friend.
