Still Waters
When storms arise and shadows fall,
When prayers feel faint, if heard at all,
I lift my eyes beyond the sea,
My Shepherd walks ahead of me.
Though valleys stretch and mountains climb,
He holds me firm through time.
Not once alone, not one lost tear,
He whispers, “Child, I’m always near.”
His mercy flows like morning rain,
Restoring joy, redeeming pain.
His Word a lamp, His grace a guide,
With nail-scarred hands, He walks beside.
In desert winds or darkest night,
He is my peace, my shield, my light.
I do not fear the path ahead,
For He has risen from the dead.
So I will trust, and I will sing,
Through everything, through everything.
For Christ has called my heart His own
And never will He leave His throne.
